My favorite book

 


             My favorite book is Madoldoowa.It has been written by Mr.Martin Wickramasinghe. There are so many characters in this book. Some of them are Upali,Jinna,Podigamarala,Dangadasa etc.Upali is a mother less boy. His mother died when he was 7 years old .After that his father married again. Because of this Upali was so sad. He doesn't like schooling. So he runs away from home with his friend Jinna and cultivate an Island. This Island is called Madoldoowa. This book is a world famous book. It has been translated in to Chinese,Russian, Dutch,Rumanian,Czech Bulgarian and Japanese languages and published in these respective countries.

I like this book very much.
